Community Impact

Community Impact at Tempe Community Council is a process that involves creating a desired end result of multiple strategically designed funding and intervention efforts to improve the well-being of children, youth, individuals, and families in our community. 

In other words: It's a positive social return on investment. That investment is volunteer time, local business, faith-based and individual donations, along with the City of Tempe's commitment and financial contribution to human service funding.

The Community Impact Committee of the Board of Tempe Community Council (TCC) provides leadership of the TCC staff and Tempe City Council on human services priorities and programs.

The work of this committee supports the following activities and programs:

• Agency Review (AR) Funding Process
• Site Visits - to AR funded nonprofit agencies
• Roundtables - convening community and nonprofit agency partners around human service issues 
• Community Needs Assessment 
• Community volunteerism and education
